Getting Started with Myaccountant as an Accountant user

Overview

This guide walks you through the steps to sign up and get started with Myaccountant as an accountant. You’ll learn how to create your practice account and log in into your new account.

  1. Visit the Myaccountant login page.
  2. On the login screen, select Accountant as your user type.
  3. You’ll have three sign-up options:
    • Google Account
    • Xero Account
    • Email Address
  4. To sign up using your email, click Sign Up with Email.
  5. Fill out the requested details in the sign-up form.
  6. Tick the I’m not a robot checkbox and click Sign Up.
  7. You’ll be redirected to the login page. Use your registered email and password to log in.
  8. A 6-digit verification code will be sent to your email. Enter this code to complete verification.
  9. Once verified, you’ll land on your Accountant Dashboard or the Account Setup Assistance Wizard (if this is your first time).

Useful Tips:

  • Be  sure to use a work email you check regularly for easy access to verification codes and client notifications.
  • If you don't receive the verification email, check your spam or junk folder.
  • You can always link your Xero account later in the settings if you skip it during sign-up
